Building Remodel

Making the most of what we have to make disciples of Jesus

Union View is blessed in so many ways. We are a group of people who love Jesus and we have a building to meet in that we own outright. As a church we have the responsibility to make the best use of our building. For the church, 'best use' is always measured by how to best follow Jesus' command to make disciples. As our church continues to grow we are running out of room in our sanctuary. We've developed a plan to move our sanctuary to where our current fellowship hall is, add restrooms, and increase sanctuary seating capacity 70 percent.

Added seating

Moving our sanctuary will increase our seating capacity from 200 to 350. Using chairs allows us the flexibility to start with fewer chairs and add more as we need them.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Jesus

We're currently planning for between $220,000 and $240,000. Architectural and engineering plans are in progress. When the plans are completed we will have a more specific dollar amount.

As of March we have $130,736 in our building fund.

So far we have complete two projects in our existing space. We have remodeled our basement for our student ministry, and we've taken steps to alleviate water drainage.

Our plan is to start the sanctuary project as soon as we have reached our fundraising goals.
